Hello,
The fire alarm plan for FIRE25-0084 has been approved by the Oceanside Fire Department. Attached are the approved plans. The job card for this project will be sent later this week. I am in the process of creating it.
Fees are covered under the building permit. Any additional plan submittals or inspections not listed on the job card may incur additional fees.
The required inspections for each building are:
• Prewire
• Final
**we no longer require 24 hour battery tests to be completed**
Required documents for each building are:
• Contractor’s Statement of Compliant Installation: Per NFPA 72 Section 7.5.2, before requesting final approval of the installation, the installing contractor shall furnish a written statement stating that the system has been installed in accordance with approved plans and tested in accordance with the manufacturer’s published instructions and the appropriate NFPA requirements and email to OFDfireprevention@oceansideca.org.
• NFPA 72 Record of Completion – due at time of final
Please make sure you have the plans and the job card on site during construction and during the inspection. You may call 760-435-4101 once you’re ready to schedule the inspection.
