Hello,
The plan reviewer has picked the fire hydrants for the North River Farms project. Please see which hydrants the plans examiners picked to flow and test as they are not the same hydrants that were requested. The hydrants selected have been clouded on the map and there’s a note on the map on why we selected those specific hydrants.
The hydrant use is considered an Operational Permit and costs $236, which needs to be paid before the flow test can be scheduled.
Here is the link to pay online: https://payments.ci.oceanside.ca.us/posweb2/positemdetails.aspx?positemkey=364. The invoice number must be entered exactly: CGO:001804 (For best results, copy and paste the invoice number and use Google Chrome.) The “person paying” will be the name on your credit card.
Please keep in mind that the Water Department and Fire Department do not conduct the hydrant flow test and are only present to witness the test. You must write down the results of the test, we will not provide any report or test results.
Once the fee has been paid, please call 760-435-4101 to schedule the inspection.
